You’ve come to the “write” place! I’m looking forward to meeting you and learning all about you and the projects you hope to accomplish! Until then, here’s a bit about my story.

Basically, I’m an overall grammar geek and since “Schreiber” means “writer” in German, I suppose it was always my destiny.

As a multitasker and dreamer, my lifelong entrepreneur spirit led me to so many experiences. I started my first business while in high school at 17 years old – a seasonal café in the quaint, historic village of Fishtown (Leland, Michigan) where I was lucky to grow up. Though also proud to be “made in Detroit,” my Detroit spirit runs strong.

After graduating from Central Michigan University, I spent 10 years as a commercial real estate agent, followed years as a wine trial director, event planner, presenter, radio host and more. Through it all, I’ve always had a passion for telling stories of people and places and continued freelance writing on the side and even published a couple of books along the way!

Eventually, I realized that helping others succeed by telling their stories is what I am most passionate about. By that time, however, I was making a pretty decent salary, which was hard to give up to explore my dreams when my kids prefer to have a cozy home, food, clothing and, well, everything else– they were teenagers!

Life was cruising at a fast pace – happily and successfully – then came the global pandemic and, like many, I was forced to slow down. With time to reflect and the realization that life is fragile, I decided to spend the rest of my years doing what I truly love – writing – so, here I am!
