When it comes to your book, it’s YOUR vision, and YOU are the author! I’m just here to provide my writing expertise to turn your ideas into a powerful story that is written in YOUR voice. In order to give your project time, personal attention and creativity, I only take one ghostwriting client at any given time. It’s all about YOU!
THE PROCESS is simple and straight forward.
Phase 1 – Get To Know You
We’ll develop a close professional relationship starting with an initial “get-to-know-you” conversation so that I understand your vision and ideas. From there, we will stay in touch on a regular basis throughout the process.
Phase 2 – Research You
With your permission to professionally stalk you online:), I’ll also research you via social media, articles, interviews, podcasts, blogs, videos – anything that gets me to truly understand your voice.
Phase 3: The Plan
Based on conversations and research, I’ll create an overall plan for the creation of your book.
Phase 4: Let the Writing Begin
This is the longest phase in completing your book. While I’ll be the one to start writing the book, it’s important that we stay connected during this process as it’s your story I’m putting into words and you, of course, will always have the final say. This phase may include interviews, research and more.
Phase 5: Edit, Edit, Edit
Editing is a repeated process! We’ll have a deep-dive focus on the overall structure, flow and content to ensure clarity, consistency and style in addition to catching any typos, spelling mistakes or errors with grammar, punctuation and formatting.
Phase 6: Proofreading
Once we feel the book is done, we’ll take one final and careful look to catch any missed typos, spelling mistakes or errors with grammar, punctuation and formatting.
Phase 7: Publishing
I’ll assist in any way that I can to get your book published.
PRICING
$10,000 flat fee for most books, no royalties
20% paid upfront, monthly installments for the duration of the project
TIMELINE
A typical book takes about 4 to 6 months to complete, though each project is unique and may vary based on the length of the book and the research required. All is negotiable.
